B.J.,

The phrase "We the people..." is the beginning of the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration starts with "When in the course of human events..."

One last thing I forgot to add.... When a so-called representative strays from what they promised the people, THE VERY PEOPLE THAT ELECTED THEM. There is no processes in place to have them heisted from their position IMMEDIATELY for lying!! Thus, there really is no way to hold them accountable except at the next election. This is why I believe that the United States is in it's sad state of affairs. God help us. I know you are one of His instruments but I think we are going to need a little more intervention from the heavens. =)

Our founding fathers tried with all their might to put checks and balances in place to avoid corruption and government domination. I am wondering if they have a secret written somewhere for the American people to call for a white wash (cleaning) of the ENTIRE house or representatives (save it be Ron Paul)!!! I mean, look at the state of the US now and the time it will take to elect people like you and Ron Paul to occupy the right seats to start fixing things. THEN, we have to worry about corruption AFTER elected. I mean, the government has us so busy we don't have enough time to elect someone on certain promised principles and then keep an eye on them to see if the keep to those promises. You and Ron Paul are our inspiration but I fear America has been handed to a group of evil men by a corrupt house of so-called representatives.

The bailout vote was bad enough by itself, but the picture gets even worse when you consider all of the anti-liberty votes in Congress. You can see a list of them here...

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE SAYS "WE, THE PEOPLE!!!"...not we, the government; not we, president and vice president; not we, the congress; not we, the bankers; not we, the reptiles; not we, the aliens!!!!!!!!!!! IT CLEARLY SAYS..."WE, THE PEOPLE!!!!"

I believe in the American People...we are loving, gentle, generous, kind, forgiving...but when pushed beyond the brink, we have a fighting spirit, a spirit that was left here be our ancestors, our grandparents, our parents, ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!

LIBERTY will not perish from this EARTH...because WE, THE PEOPLE, WILL NOT LET IT!!!!

I believe that we need to get out on the MALL in WASHINGTON and get the press there from all of the OTHER NEWS MEDIA...but don't invite the three major networks, nor FOX....they are all traitors...we need to march into WASHINGTON and say... "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" Then we need to call them what they are...TRAITORS TO OUR BEAUTIFUL NATION!!!! WE...THE PEOPLE...MUST DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!! LET THEM SEE OUR TRUE AMERICAN SPIRIT!!!! They are counting on one thing, and that is that we do not care enough as a people to take action!!!! They think that they have lulled us to sleep by poisoning our food and drinks...THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE AWAKE NOW!!!!!!!!!! AND WE ARE MAD AS HELL AND NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!! I WILL BE IN FRONT OF THE CROWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am deeply against everything going on that is hurting the honest people in our society. If this bill is indeed unconstitutional, then challenging it to take it to the Supreme Court could get it thrown out.

Mr. Lawson / Dr. Paul,

Why do you not take the necessary steps to challenge this bill in this way? If you have 9/10's of the peoples support and are against it as well, this would your chance to make a change!

The bailout proves that Congress doesn't listen to their constituents, I agree. But why don't they listen to their constituents?

The fact that they no longer listen to the voters, proves that our votes no longer count. With all these electronic voting machines everywhere, the Congressmen are more likely to listen to what the President of Diebold wants than to their own constituents. That's because the voting machines are actually voting fraud machines. Face it, this is proof your vote and my vote no longer matter at all to the politicians, because our votes aren't counted.

If one vote isn't counted, everyone's vote isn't counted.

Seriously, how do you think these people would vote if it was about *their* money?

Michael Ivey, you don't have to flush that many of them. Visit Ron Paul's site to see who still voted No in the House. My Rep (Jeb Hensarling) was one who stood firm. I wish I could say the same about our Texas Senators, but I'm afraid Ms. Hutchison and Mr. Cornyn will not have my vote next term. Now to find an alternative that isn't nauseating...

Go BJ Lawson! I wish I could help with more than that measly ten bucks.
