Your Money at Work, Part 2
By: BJ Lawson
We’ve been busy — just wanted to update you on our radio advertisements:
Price, Paulson, Pelosi:

Drug Prohibition:
2008-10-13-drug-war
Biodisease Lab:

Time for Change:

If your computer doesn’t recognize the above audio files, you can listen to them in another uncompressed format in our Media Center.
We have a flyer that’s a big hit at the polls, as well — letting people know that the key to voting for change is voting Lawson for Congress:
Finally, we took the opportunity to educate the readers of The Daily Tar Heel about the misstatements in their coverage of our UNC debate:
Thanks for making this possible!

Great and compelling literature but check the typo on the “Vote you conscience, not your party” flyer.

Nice catch, Mike — crowdsourced copy editing

It is good to see that our money is being used well. Good luck BJ.

Every day I feel better and get more excited about this campaign. BJ you are doing an amazing job of bringing your message of truth to the people!

This is great stuff! One other correction: Under “Iraq War”, on your flyer you mention that the defense industry is Price’s “third second largest donor”. I assume it’s one or the other.
As someone thinking about doing what you have done, I’m rooting for you from afar. Good luck in two weeks!!

Great work BJ, keep it up!

I am looking forward to another chance to assist with your hand outs. I am a little let down about the INDY not endorsing you. I thought messages of Peace and individual Freedom is what INDY was all about. Let’s keep flooding the district with the message of Truth and Responsibility. Halloween is coming, perhaps we can give parents some of your campaign info as a treat.

this is great stuff!!!!
Ron Paul-BJ Lawson 2012!

BJ, one correction. The flyer states that “Saddam Hussein and his ruling elite were largely unaffected”. In fact, Hussein and his cronies became a great deal richer under the sanctions, because nearly all foreign trade with Iraq went through government hands once the sanctions were in place.
The upshot of the sanctions: hundreds of thousands dead, billions of dollars for Saddam personally.

One other typo: change “vote you conscience” to “vote YOUR conscience”

Well, you are pretty much the only reason I’ve decided to vote this November. I do hope you win; I could use some good news this year. Thank you, sir!

Donald, good halloween idea.
If you live in BJ’s district, hand out his campaign flyers to all the parents that come to your door - and give the kids good candy.

speaking the truth about drug prohibition–congratulations for being the leader on this issue and showing courage not seen amongst most candidates.

Love the new spots, they are well conceived, well executed and right on target with voter concerns.
I love the transparency of your campaign in the fantastic blog entries. Keep up the great work team Lawson!

Very nice work. It’s good to see our money going to great ads. Go get’em B.J.

I just want to say that the “Drug Prohibition” ad might sound offensive to people.

You should play the ‘Pro-Gun Card”. I am guessing that Mr. Price is anti-gun, most dems are.
That is where John McCain is sadly lacking against BO. He won’t mention BO’s anti-gun record.

They look great. All I can say is, I wish I was in the 4th district, or that you were in the 6th. Good luck!

I am certainly voting for Mr. Lawson. The fact that Price ignored my pleas to vote no to the bailout (and 80% of my fellow citizens) is inexcusable.
You should also not vote for the following bailout cronies:
brad miller
bob etheridge
richard burr

BJ. Im not in NC but in VA and wish you were my rep. Atleast when you win I can visit Ron Paul and you in washinghton. He wont be alone. Every day it seems that more bad news, and more civil liberties have been trashed. Constitution means nothing to most of them in washington. You and Ron give us hope and a sense that we can turn the tide around.
With all that said how do you feel about cloning yourself. I see it this way with you and ron paul each only need to clone 200 or so. Much easier then cloneing ron 500 times. LOL. Really im kidding for anyone who takes offense to cloning.

I sent a second donation toward your campaign today, I don’t care what it takes I will be supporting any candidate that will follow the constitution. I don’t care if it is in my home state of WI or another state, I am fed up and it is time to take our country back! I wish you the best of luck B.J.!
